Our Humble Beginnings
Established in the early 1960s, Brooklea Golf & Country Club began as a modest establishment with big dreams. This historic photo from our opening years shows the original clubhouse, complete with motel accommodations and our first dining room.
The sign proudly announces "Brooklea Golf & Country Club" alongside amenities including golf, a motel, swimming pool, and dining room. Notice the vintage cars parked outside and the sign indicating the dining room was open from noon until 8pm.
From these modest beginnings, Brooklea has evolved into the premier golf destination we are today, while still maintaining the welcoming spirit and community focus that defined us from day one.
